I was recently asked to repost this prayer request (November 09, 2023):

Asking for prayer.  I am helping to get an online prayer circle going.  My love to everyone who reads this. Let's pray for each other today because prayers are needed right now.  If I don't see your name, I'll understand.  I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to kindly post this status for one hour, to whisper a prayer for all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, or are in the middle of a war zone, or worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares.  Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune.  I hope to see this on the walls of my family and friends just for moral support.  I did it for someone else,  and you can, too !

I would like to add the following from a Quora.com partial answer I provided about people being somehow unable to believe God's Word:

I have seen statistics that show that probably only one out of 10 professing Christians actually practice furthering the Great Commission. Nine out of every 10 Christians think more about their individual well-being than in sharing God’s Word and offering support to others not as fortunate as we. In short, they do not love others as they love themselves.

How can someone not believe in Jesus?"

When the going gets tough, their Christian threads break so easily and willingly. Even if they believe in Jesus, they are so quick to compromise that they will gladly change, especially if they are in company with those who do not believe what they believe. 

They lose their belief in Jesus because they want local relationships and social acceptances so much that it is just too easy not to believe what they once knew and cherished.

Lord, as we reach out to you in prayer for those who dearly need your intervention and loving power to please help us use these trends and maladies as opportunities to further Your Great Commission. 

Help us to:

•  Persevere,
• To love one another as we love ourselves,
• To know You more and more each day.

Help us to:

• Reach out to others who do not believe in You or are only weakly connected;
• Use what has been dividing us to make more numerous, stronger and with longer connections that will produce the fruit that keeps on producing fruit after it produces fruit, God’s Gospel, The Good News that Jesus sacrificed His life so that those who believe in Him shall not perish but rather have eternal life in peace with You, God and each other.

In the name of Jesus, we collectively pray and thank You for your grace and mercy. Amen, Lord

I haven't been able to figure out how to take advantage of this blogspot service.  But, here is a Reply:

Miss Joy, you know as well as I do, that The Lord is at work all around us, in us and with us in everything. His Grace is worthy of praise; and He is glorified when we use His grace to grace others. But, it seems that more and more people have their heads in the sand. Thoughts abound that "whatever it is," it's happening to others. Many are blinded by their own inabilities keep life's complexities in perspective. To make matters worse, we have all been targets as the evil on uses us all to spread his works that divide us.

For me at least, Jesus wants me to make myself available whenever anyone wants to know His Good News. The Good Lord has been driving all of my thoughts so much. Of course, I am grateful, but, I hate to spin my wheels in unused results. And He has me going in all directions. (Check out my World Tripping Points blog now and then)

I love those postings you have been making that speak for themselves. I certainly have noticed them. You are on the right track.

I too am a relative new comer to FB having been hacked three times, but the site keeps dangling its "Use Me Flag," in my social bull fighting eyes such that it is hard for me to ignore.

However, you may know more about using social media than I do. I just am very wary of it, so much that I always hesitate to go into it "ALL IN." But, I think it is a way for Christians to watch each others' backs and then to stand united in identifying and maintaining that line that glorifies Jesus' Grace. The word has got to go out.

Re-posting with a message leading back to some of my blogs on the subject works, but one at a time. I always get back to that "Grace worthy of praise" observation point (I have a blog by that same name as a matter of fact). God wants more of that shared to everyone.

I find myself being drawn into answering more and more questions on Quora.com. If you want to see some of my postings just Google Quora.com and use their search for posting in my name.
